I know one thing I want for my b-day (besides getting a job)
A Fuji Instax Mini Instant Camera from Photojojo.
It's beautiful, I know.
A lot of things have happened recently that has made me realize that you need to just roll with the punches and try your hardest to look at the glass always being half full. Life never seems to turn out the way you planned it, but where is the fun in that?
Just a thought.

I. Love. New York.
I. Love. New York.
this welcomed us when we finally touched down at JFK
this welcomed us when we finally touched down at JFK
That is all there is to it. I could live there for a while and be totally content with life.
Needless to say, the trip with my family was amazing! Unfortunately it was cut a little short due to weather...We were supposed to fly out on the 19th of December, but the flight was canceled. However, we booked a new flight for the following day with a layover in Chicago. When we reached Chicago, our flight to NY was canceled again! Just our luck. Fortunately for us, it was Chicago; a place I went to when I was really little but have no recollection of. Basically big cities are so fun. I love all the hustle and bustle of things and the shopping is spectacular. The next morning we FINALLY made it to New York and what is there to take us into the city but a LIMO! That's right. I had never been in one of those, either, so my parents thought it would be fun and it most definitely was.
We went everywhere possible. Took the subway to the Natural Museum of History and the Metropolitan Museum of Art; walked through Central Park; visited Grand Central Station; saw the New York Public Library; went to the top of the Empire State Building; saw the Broadway show Wicked; and enjoyed living at the Marquis in Times Square.
I loved every moment and hope to go there another time in a different season (preferably a warmer one).
I hope everyone had a great Christmas and wish the best of luck to a New Year!
